Volunteer Opportunities  

We operate 24/7, 365 days a year via an on-call pager system where members select when they will respond to calls. Our department is strong when it comes to training and drills, ensuring our members are at the top of their game.

Firefighting/Rescue/EMT

Besides fighting fires you'll have the ability to respond to alarms, special assignments, missing persons, vehicle rescues and other various types.  No call is ever the same. Our community depends on us....if you have the feeling act on it.  Ready to join? The link will open the membership application.  When completed email to membership@perkasifire.org or bring it to the firehouse on a Thursday night about 7 PM.

Junior Members can join starting at 15 years of age, adult members must be 18 and over to complete Fire 1 Structural Burn Sessions.  All training/gear provided at no cost to you.

Fire Police

Our Fire Police work closely with the Perkasie Borough Police Department to ensure the safety of residents while attending various events throughout the year such as the under the stars car show, homecoming parade, Farmers Market, Christmas Tree Lighting and more. As well as responding to all emergency calls, along with the firefighters, making sure all our volunteers stay safe at fire scenes.  Ready to sign up?  The link below will open a download for you to complete with instructions.  Have more questions contact membership@perkasiefire.org or come to the firehouse on a Thursday night about 7 PM. 


Must be 21 years of age.  Training is provided at no cost.

Contributing Member

Contributing Members help the Company by volunteering their time to help with staffing our various community and fire company related events, and also helping out around the station with administrative duties.
